The Cambie Gardens (Pearson Dogwood Redevelopment) project will transform an existing 25-acre site between Cambie and Heather and 57th to 59th Avenues into a vibrant, sustainable neighbourhood with health and community as its core values. Several mixed-use buildings comprising approximately 3,000 residential units and approximately 100,000 square feet of commercial space will be constructed.

Given the size of the development, the project is subject to the City of Vancouver’s Rezoning Policy For Sustainable Large Developments. Recollective’s role involved facilitating a sustainability workshop with the design team, researching natural capital information for the site, coordinating the sustainability components of the rezoning application document, and composing the Zero Waste Plan and LEED portions of the document itself.
