UBC intends to upgrade and renew the Jack Bell Building for the School of Social Work (Jack Bell) located on the Point Grey Campus in Vancouver, BC. Jack Bell is a 3,041 GSM, 4 storey steel frame building constructed in 1992.
The building will be vacated to allow for a full building renovation and upgrade of systems and finishes, as well as interior reconfiguration to support modern research and teaching pedagogy for SOWK. Renewal is also an opportunity to improve the energy performance of the building and to achieve LEED Gold certification.
Recollective is providing Sustainability Consulting including LEED Project Management and consulting on the CaGBC Zero Carbon Building Design Standard.
