Recollective provided sustainability services for the repurposed heritage Ballantyne Pier Shed, now transformed into the Container Operations Facility at the port. This significant renovation and addition project, part of a larger port expansion effort, preserved the historical integrity of the structure while meeting modern functional and technical requirements. Situated on a pre-existing pier with associated parking areas built on infill over former water areas, the project achieved LEED Gold certification.
The design maintains a cohesive architectural expression that honors the site’s heritage while meeting current operational demands.
