The time has come to get well-versed in LEED V4 as this becomes the new LEED standard on October 31st 2016. It will be here before you know it! Plus, Jason really knows what he’s talking about – he’s been teaching students about the various LEED standards for five years and has been working in sustainability for almost 20 years. Introduction to the Changes in LEED V4 and Building Tour

As a movement and an industry, green building is evolving rapidly.  LEED users can register projects under the LEED 2009 rating system until October 31, 2016, after which projects will be registered under LEED v4. Join us to learn about the key changes you can expect with LEED v4 in this Introduction to the LEED v4 Rating Systems half day in-class course. Participants will gain a foundational grasp of the major changes between LEED 2009 and LEED v4 and explore its impact on Canadians. They will learn how projects can ultimately benefit from the Canadian Alternative Compliance Paths that are currently under development.

Bonus Building Tour: As part of this course, you will also get an exclusive tour of CaGBC’s new Vancouver office which is targeting LEED v4 for Commercial Interiors Gold (with a stretch target of Platinum).  Join our tour guide as you walk through the project to gain a foundational grasp of the major changes in LEED v4 and witness its impacts first hand.
