SSG is an innovative Canadian worker co-operative that nurtures and embodies a holistic understanding of sustainability and works with clients and collaborators to meaningfully integrate social, ecological and economic practices in their organisations and work.

Diana Klein, Founder, BSc, P.Eng, LEED AP
Diana is a consultant and founder of Eco-Integration. She has over 25 years experience in the building industry as a structural engineer and sustainable consultant. She will bring to your building design her extensive project management experience and an ability to help you and your team embrace new ideas and attitudes.
She came to Canada from the UK in 1988 bringing a strong background in both integrated design and sustainable practices. She worked as a structural engineer with Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. (RJC), a structural and building envelope engineering company for nearly 20 years. During this time her role evolved to becoming RJC’s sustainability specialist and researcher. Diana was the project engineer on the CK Choi Building at UBC (designed 1993). This project was a leader to embrace a holistic approach to sustainable design. She is respected in the building industry for the expertise and inspiration she brings to innovative sustainable design. Diana is dedicated to life-long learning and committed to the concept that sustainable building design will become the ‘norm’ for building design because it economically, socially and environmentally makes sense.

SES Consulting Inc. is a dynamic Vancouver-based company that focuses on energy efficiency and conservation in commercial buildings by offering a variety of consulting services. Our diverse team provide detailed energy audits, energy project design, project management, energy consumption analysis, direct digital control (DDC) re-commissioning and optimization. E3 ECO GROUP INC. is a sustainable building consulting firm that specializes in residential energy evaluations for the green rating systems of British Columbia including Built Green BC and LEED Canada for Homes. Our associates are all actively involved in the sustainable building industry. Many of our associates are either Certified Energy Advisors, LEED Accredited Professionals or are working toward these goals.
We have successfully completed over 4000 ecoENERGY evaluations under the old and new Energuide for existing homes program. As well, we have led the way in developing the path for the Energuide Rating Service to be implemented in both the BC Hydro PowerSmart program as well as the Built Green BC programs.
E3 ECO GROUP Inc. has also been instrumental in the Part 10 of the BC Building Code and its awareness program to help promote the Energuide 77 compliance path for performance housing.

Dave Peterson is the Principal and founder of BLUE CAMAS Consulting Ltd. (BCCL), a building design consultancy based in Vancouver British Columbia, which focuses on techniques and strategies for sustainability in building and planning.
Blue Camas is currently working in association with Recollective in support of BC Housing’s Sustainability goals for Social Housing developments in Vancouver. Our work includes Integrated Design Process facilitation and LEED Gold Certifications.

Esteban Undurraga, Principal, B.A Arch., M.A.S.A., LEED AP
Originally from Chile, Esteban holds a professional degree in architecture form the Central University of Chile, and a Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture degree from The University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
Some of his latest work includes the latest Bowen Island's Master Plan and Civic Facilities Plan for Snug Cove and the new Municipality of Bowen Island's guideline for land use strategies and green building policies towards a 2030 carbon neutral plan . Other work involved collaborating and facilitating the design for the Sustainability Framework for Beaverton, Oregon, a green building strategy (2030 Challenge) for a Comprehensive Sustainability Strategy for the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico, as well as volunteering in sustainability initiatives such as the 100-year Sustainability Plan for Vancouver (Cities+ Team, Gold winner – International Gas Association Competition), and Sustainable Cities 2050.
Sylvia Coleman
PhD Student, LEED AP
With interdisciplinary background in both the humanities and physical sciences, Sylvia is well-placed for the complex analysis and concept translation required in today's sustainability disciplines.
Sylvia worked as a Sustainability Researcher for Busby Perkins + Will's Research Department from 2004-2007, where her responsibilities ranged from research into both established and innovative building products, technologies and design strategies, literature searches, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and LEED documentation. She synthesizes unique skills of analysis to develop and write reports for internal projects and clients including Canadian governmental departments and agencies, the GVRD, City of Vancouver, VANOC, Environment Canada, and Industry Canada.
